Venice & Burano | A Photography journal

There is so much to see in Venice. The Italian city is famous for its lagoon-blue canals and charming bridges. With no valentines travel this year, I feel pretty in love looking back on these photos.

Accompanying and reflecting its beauty are the colourful neighbouring islands of Murano and Burano for a day trip. Combined, you’ll enjoy slow vibes, charming restaurants and sunset spots- easily making Venice one of Europe’s most scenic sinking cities.

Fortunately, I took my first trip to Italy in early 2020. The picturesque scenes from this city of canals completely blew me away. Italy is home to the slow living movement, so it’s pretty crazy to me that I didn’t visit sooner! The movement also inspired the slow food, slow fashion and slow travel trends I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy.

The beauty on offer in Venice is absolutely immaculate, and here I’ve combined some of my favourite shots. Credit to my best friend Joanna for some of these photos too (see her page!).
